Friday night we had eight babies kits arrive! When baby bunnies are born, they are called kits, kindlings or kittens.  Their eyes are closed and they have no fur on their little bodies yet.

After about two weeks, they will finally have some fur and their eyes should be open. Their mama only nurses them once a day, usually at night and they are full for 24 hours until the next feeding. Arent they just adorable!! ❤️

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect week!

This was a jam-packed week, and so much fun! We hiked, played games, worked in the garden, and did more vaccinations and hoof clippings. We also watched a fantastic sheep shearing presentation, which I was able to participate in. We also learned about the anatomy of goats, and tye dyed t-shirts! Whew :-)! It was a full week.

Summer time at the ranch is so much fun!

Time for vaccinations and hoof trimming, we are still learning the ropes but I think we’re finally getting it down :-). Special thanks to our good friends that helped wrangle our goats and sheep, it was an entertaining evening!
