We welcomed friends and family on Saturday, to give thanks and to celebrate our new start at the ranch. There have been many people who have helped over the past couple of years whether it was babysitting, bringing a meal, helping us move, and of course laboring on the ranch. We would not be here without you ❤.

Tastes like chicken!
No joke! In case you were wondering… Rabbit tastes EXACTLY like chicken. We barbecued rabbit for the first time, and I’m sorry to tell you, that little guy was delicious!
Welcome home Faleece!
Faleece finally made it to her new home on Saturday. She came from Borges Ranch 4H and is the sweetest sheep I have ever met! We love her already, and feel thankful to have her.
The big day! Moving the sheep and goats.
We did it! With minimal injuries and and a large amount of sweat and effort, we moved the goats and sheep to their shelter at last. Thank you for all your help Dan phillips!
Goat project! Tatooing and soap making.
We love our 4H goat project at River Edge Farm in Isleton, Ca. Our gracious host Tracy, is a resident and owner of the farm. She has kindly opened up her home to us each month, to share her love and knowledge with us about goats. At the goat project we learn anything and everything relating to goats, and my kids love it!
This week we learned how to tattoo a goats identification on their ear for state fair, and also how to make soap made from goat milk.
