What an incredible week! The Friday class was able to see the baby pigs be born! It was an amazing experience, and a little bit sad because we lost one of the babies, the poor little thing got smooshed by her mama =-(, but Maple still has seven healthy piglets to nurse for the next eight weeks.
We had a great week! The children had lots of fun making broccoli pesto pasta, and learning how to inspect a healthy pig. We are loving these kiddos, we have the best job! Thank you for sharing your children with us ❤️.
Thank you all so much for helping, we got a lot done!
Another magical week! We learned about respect, hiked, worked, weighed the bunnies, and found a praying mantis egg sack! We planted some seedlings, and made fruit and cheese kabobs. We learned about potassium, and also learned about goats and identified several goat breeds and listened to some incredible presentations from the children.
Once a year we go on an adventure to Mendocino woodlands. It is magical, it is stunning and it so much fun! This year there were 22 homeschool families who attended the Homeschool outdoor science school. Every year we come back forever changed.
My heart feels so full of Joy, I feel it could burst at any moment. That feeling you get when you know you are doing something important, and life feels complete. This is how I feel when I am in class. I love challenging these kiddos and watching them be so impressed and hungry for knowledge and growth. Here is couple of photos of our week.
